Sarah Palin’s Speech

Not a bad debut for Ms. Palin. Overall, I thought the speech was excellent. It did the job and she delivered it with some nice jabs at Barry along with some substance about who she is and what she will do.

IMHO, here was one of the best lines of the speech.

“I’m not a member of the permanent political establishment. And I’ve learned quickly, these past few days, that if you’re not a member in good standing of the Washington elite, then some in the media consider a candidate unqualified for that reason alone. But here’s a little news flash for all those reporters and commentators: I’m not going to Washington to seek their good opinion – I’m going to Washington to serve the people of this country.”

Outstanding.

Barry Better Get His Facts Straight

A couple of thoughts the Barry and Joe ought to think about.

Kudos to Barry and Joe for taking the high road regarding the Bristol Palin story. They have declared it “off limits” for their campaign. Now that they’ve shown us how “classy” they are, they’ll sit back and watch as the MSM tries to destroy Palin. They might want to get that word our to the low-lifes in the MSM, too. My own feeling is that the children and families are off limits, period.

If they join the campaign, then they’re fair game for any gaffes they may pull. This puts Michelle Obama in the crosshairs despite what Barry wants.

Of course, the unwritten rule about families does not apply to Republicans and especially conservative women.

Obama might want to get word out to the attack dogs in the MSM. If they keep attacking, I have a feeling it will backfire on the Dems, big time.

Barry ought to think about “the experience thing”. Consider this article, which would be funny if it weren’t so pathetic.

“Well, my understanding is that Governor Palin’s town of Wasilla has, I think, 50 employees. We’ve got 2,500 in this campaign. I think their budget is maybe $12 million a year. You know, we have a budget of about three times that just for the month. So I think that our ability to manage large systems and to execute I think has been made clear over the last couple of years,” Obama said.

I guess he forgot about her tenure as governor of Alaska which has a budget of about $11 billion and about 25,000 employees. Typical. And it’s typical that the MSM won’t remind Obama about his lack of experience in anything on an executive basis.

By the way, Barry, you have run NOTHING in your life. You might also want to remember that should you win, you can’t vote “Present” as POTUS like you did in Illinois.

It would be nice if the MSM would focus on things like Obama’s lack of experience in doing anything. But we know they won’t.
