It’s Historic

FWIW, congratulations to Obama on his win. It was a hell of a campaign…I’d say the best that I’ve ever seen.
Everywere I turn, whether TV or radio, I keep hearing about the “historic election” with Barry being “black”. Excuse me, he’s also half white. But the real reason last night was historic is that for the first time in the history of the country, the country elected a candidate with a Marxist agenda.
Now, Barry gave a very nice acceptance speech, as was to be expected. The man is a great orator. His “red state, blue state, United States” comment probably caused a lot of people to sigh and swoon. Suckers.
Now, I really hope I’m wrong about Barry. I really hope he runs on a centrist agenda….but I doubt it. His campaign has been one of lies and half-truths and I don’t think he’ll change. I’m afraid the first hundred days will usher in an assault on our rights, the likes of which has never been seen in our country.
In the agenda are, I feel, the following.
The First Amendment will be under assualt as the Dims try and reinstitute the “fairness doctrine”.
The Second Amendment will come under almost unprecedented assault to take away our guns. It won’t matter if it’s shotguns or handguns. The “guns are evil” crowd will have a field day.
Obama has said he intends to cut the defense budget by 25%. One of his points was to cut funding for “missle systems that don’t work.” ( I don’t know about you, but I can’t remember a missile defense test in the last five years that hasn’t worked, but, then, neither can Vladimir Putin or Kim Jong Il.)
He’s promised to put an entire industry into bankruptcy. As a by-product, we will suffer shortages of electricity and rolling blackouts will become the norm. I hope all the Pennsylvania coal miners who voted for Barry have some other job skills. They’re going to need them.
Taxes: There may be a tax cut for most people in the first year….maybe. The next year(s) everybody is going to get a tax hike which will make me laugh as every Obamamaniac wonders what the hell happened. I’m going to be laughing my ass off.
There will be more, I’m sure, these are the ones that come readily to mind. I also hope I’m wrong, but based on Barry’s speeches, I don’t think I am.
