J.B. Van Hollen, the AG of Great socialist shithole State of Wisconsin has filed a lawsuit against the Government Accountability Board, a bunch of Jim “Pol Pot” Doyle hacks.

Madison – Wisconsin Attorney General J.B. Van Hollen sued the state agency that oversees elections Wednesday, saying it is required under federal law to check the names of more than 240,000 voters against driver records.
Performing those checks by the Nov. 4 presidential election is impossible, election clerks have said.
Clerks started performing the checks Aug. 6 for people who register to vote or change their voting address by mail, but Van Hollen said federal law requires clerks to check anyone who had done so since Jan. 1, 2006.
“We’re making sure that people realize we’re not going to let those in government replace the law with their judgment or their opinions,” said Van Hollen, a Republican and one of the state co-chairmen for Sen. John McCain’s presidential campaign.
There’s a couple of other pretty disturbing items in the article. According to Federal Law, the states were to have the databases activated on January 1, 2008. The inept fools appointed by Doyle didn’t have the database activated until August, 2008 due to “technical problems”.
Natually, the libtards point the finger at someone else. Take a look at the statement from Alfred E. Newman wannabe, Mark Pocan.
But Democratic Rep. Mark Pocan of Madison accused the attorney general of being oblivious to software glitches and other problems in the voter-registration system that have been known for years.
Van Hollen’s lawsuit is trying to push a system “that’s not ready for prime time” into “overdrive,” Pocan said.
Uh, Mark….if it’s been known for years, why wasn’t it fixed? After all, the appointees to the Board are Doyle appointees.
Maybe that explains it.
In a follow up article in the local rag today, Kevin Kennedy, the full-time ass clown who chairs the board, said,
Kevin Kennedy, the board’s director, said voters could be disenfranchised if Van Hollen wins.
“The board believes it would be counterproductive to rush this effort and to create a significant risk, at best, of unnecessary hardship and confusion at the polls, and at worst, the disenfranchisement of Wisconsin citizens with a clear and legitimate right to vote,” he said in a statement.
No Kevin, any disenfrachisment will be due to your ineptness, stupidity and laziness.
