Spinning the Speech Already

Well, Barack Hussein Obama is going to give a speech regarding the race in America. Actually, I’m guessing he’s going to try to spin the words of the “David Duke of the Black Church”, Jeremiah Wright.
This could actually be interesting. Fox News this morning was reporting that Obama wrote the speech himself. I don’t plan on listening to it…the transcript will be up withing minutes of the conclusion of the speech. Obama is a great orator so I’m sure it will be good speech in that regard. Whether or not it has any real information is another matter. We’ll see.

i’m conservative, a republican stuck in california. and asian.
i skipped obama’s speech also, but when i read it this morning, i was floored. truly a tremendous speech, right on point, and so far from the reaches of the status quo of politcos today.
sure, racism is not the only problem plaguing our country today, but damn, he said all the right things, and really tugged at my soul.

I thought Obamas speech was a capitulation. After listening to him today, I think he’s now playing the very sad “victim race” card.
I’m not Asian..I’m gwiloh…but I admire the Asians who immigrate, legally or not, who just go and do it to become a member of America. Obama has shown, by his speech, he can’t even support his mother, who would surely not be welcomed in his church…and that’s sad.
