The Rally

I had the pleasure of attending the rally on Wednesday in Madistan. Since I had other stuff to do, I fired up AB1 and flew into Truax and cabbed it in. My cabbie, a rare Madistan conservative, got me as close as he could and I told him I would buy him lunch if we met up. (Sadly, we didn’t). I ended up being in the back but got a good listening position to hear Fred and Owen. You can see the YouTube version courtesy of Mr.Egg, here.

I got out kind of quickly but came away with a few things.

I thought Fred and Owen gave fine speeches. If Owen decides to run for office, he has a real chance. Fred’s speech was nicely done and probably confused the Libtards with facts. I’m sure Robson is searching for a rebuttal and, as to be expected, can’t find one.

I had to wander through the Libtards to get to where I wanted to be and was amazed at the answer to my simple question: “Why do you support elected robbery?”

Mostly, I was accused of being a “Republican Pig”. Hmmm….didn’t realize I was that transparent. OTOH…I never did get an answer.

I looked for some of our Cheddarsphere friends but didn’t see them. I apologize for not looking that hard.

I came away with a very good feeling. I think there was a real connect for the average Wisconsin taxpayer and the fact that Pol Pot Doyle not only lied to the electorate, but that “enough is enough”. I stood with some people from Menasha who were there just to see what the whole thing was about….they’re fed up with the armed robbery tax policies of our Great State as well.

Over all, a great experience. I’m not one for rallies but I’m glad I attended. Thanks as well, (as always) to the FBO at Truax.
